UNRWA
For years, the educational programs of the UN agency UNRWA, which supports Palestinian refugees, have been used to incite terrorism and violence, ubiquitous anti-Semitism, and Islamist extremism among the population they serve. UNRWA schools have also been used by Hamas to store and launch rockets.
The Lawfare Project provided analysis to and advised congressional offices and committees on UNRWA’s troubling activities, as well as the potential legal implications of continued unbridled funding by the United States. Subsequently, Congress added and continues to include language in the annual Consolidated Appropriations Acts requiring heightened oversight of UNRWA.
