Position: Legal Research Assistant / Office AdministratorThe Lawfare Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit legal think tank, is seeking a legal assistant / office administrator to work full-time in our midtown Manhattan office. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal research and writing as well as admin, but we will consider applicants who have excellent admin experience but lack a legal background. This position is a great fit for recent law school graduates who possess strong administrative abilities, as well as individuals who have paralegal/legal secretary experience. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and capable of simultaneously handling a number of different tasks and projects. If you want to get into the non-profit world, this is a wonderful opportunity. Administrative duties will include:
Applicants must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver and very basic HTML is a plus but not required.
